A brief history of how we began

      In 1999, brothers George and Ari bought what was then Sam’s Deli Restaurant and Bar now Classic Jacks Restaurant and Bar. It was an old pub that required some major renovations, and that is exactly what these two brothers’ were looking for. A year after owning Sam’s Deli, George & Ari decided it was time for change to happen. They shut down the restaurant and transformed the run down pub into Classic Jack’s Restaurant and Bar, a stylishly and trendy location for 17th Avenue.

      Shortly after the opening of Classic Jack’s, a close friend of George and Ari saw enough opportunity in this corner restaurant that he wanted to be part of, his name is Ernie. Since then the three owners and their family worked long hours developing the quality menu, the trendy look, and most of all the philosophy of our business.

      Four years after opening Classic Jacks, they saw an opportunity for a second location, heading west on 17th ave you could find an old pub called the homestead. After renovations to The Homestead, we opened our doors as 1410 World Bier Haus. Over the years we have grown to have over 95 Biers on tap and in the bottle. Ernie has enjoyed traveling abroad to Belgium and Germany to seek out some of our most popular biers we now carry in Haus. We have just celebrated our 4th anniversary at 1410 World Bier Haus thanks to our amazing customers we have gotten to know over the years, we know can call our close friends.

      What makes Classic Jack’s, 1410 and 1600 World Bier Haus very unique is our preparation of the food, our menu consists of only freshest ingredients that are made from scratch. All the salad dressings, soups and sauces are freshly prepared.

      We are very excited for the opening of 1600 World Bier Haus in Glenmore landing, we are looking forward to meeting new friends and having a great spot to enjoy a Bier and good conversation with friends.
